  • The Garage NG

    Overview

I was the sole designer for The Garage NG’s website, working closely with our developers and growth team to create a user-friendly platform that speaks to the next generation of remote work talent on Nigerian campuses. Overview

I redesigned Payday’s “Cards” page to match the energy of their vibrant marketing campaigns post-raise. This featured bold visuals, dynamic interactions, and playful copy to align with Payday’s Gen-Z tone. The redesign was a semi-viral hit, resonating with users and catching the attention of Payday’s founders.

  • WithChude.com

    Overview

I worked to design the website for WithChude, consolidating Chude Jideonwu’s diverse content—from interviews and podcasts to films and blog posts—into one seamless platform. Our challenge was to create a site that balanced rich features with simplicity, making it easy for Chude and his team to manage. The final result was a user-friendly, intuitive site that streamlined content management and improved the viewing experience across multiple media formats.

  • PiggyVest WAEC ‘23

    Overview

I worked on PiggyVest’s WAEC '23 report, turning users’ financial activity into a fun, graded performance summary. As part of the design team, we moved beyond a simple scroll, creating an interactive, story-driven experience within the app. We focused on making the report shareable, with custom meta images and dynamic landing pages for each user. While ensuring privacy by excluding actual figures, we delivered a playful and engaging way for users to reflect on their year, sparking a lot of buzz on social media.

  • Uwazi

    Overview

During the COVID-19 lockdown, I designed Uwazi, a blockchain platform enabling transparent donations to support Maasai Mara locals. To ensure accessibility, I integrated KYC verification with Metamap and adapted the platform for non-smartphone devices using USSD codes. My design made it possible for users to interact and withdraw funds even with poor internet access. The solution, which helped protect both the land and community livelihoods, won $20k at a hackathon, validating its impact.

  • Josh Chibueze, Co-Founder, PiggyVest

Working with Peter has been a joy. He understands design and how to apply it. I love his style, he just gets it.

    I’m practically the resident starboy.

  • Charles Eke, Check

AJ is Goated! An absolute whiz. In a world where everyone is insistent that design is subjective, AJ proves that good design is good design. I win these debates by saying "Look at AJ's work. Now, that's good design!”

    Charles thinks i’m the goat.

  • Daniel Orubo, ex-Head of Content, PiggyVest

Peter is a miracle of a designer. He is deeply creative, meticulous and thoughtful. On the rare occasion that he needs feedback — his first drafts are usually just that polished — he takes it attentively and without an ounce of ego. I’ve been able to do some of the best work of my career because Peter was on the project bringing his curiosity and passion for excellence to the table. With just how great Peter’s work is, you’d probably forgive him if he were late to deliver, but no, he takes deadlines seriously and communicates like a pro. Honestly, if you need a designer and you don’t hire Peter, you are not interested in putting your best foot forward.

Daniel says he’d quit with me if I ever did.

  • Chris Do, the Futur

    I left Chris Do speechless.

  • Toochukwu Okoro, CEO, BlocVerse

Peter is the most talented designer I have ever worked with, he made our projects significantly stand out at the early days of blocverse, and he thought all of us at the company the importance of design thinking and design driven development, the guy is awesome!

    Translation: I’m HIM.

  • Raymond Chuma-Onwuoku, CEO, the Garage NG

There are talented creatives all around, but in all my years of work, I’ve yet to find anyone able to express their creativity as well as AJ. AJ treats design like an orchestra. Every single shade, every stroke, every hue, and every pattern is intentionally designed to come together in a beautiful symphony of colors and shapes, fulfilling all aesthetic cravings. But also, in the kindest way possible, he holds your hand through an empathetic user journey. It’s hard to comprehend how he does it, but he does. And it doesn’t matter if it’s fintech, govtech, or a media product—you’re guaranteed that AJ will show up with big ideas, incredible execution, and a big, big personality.

    Listen to RayRay.

  • Bolu Akindele, Head of Content, PiggyVest

Peter is an exceptionally talented designer (and somehow, this description manages to betray the magnitude of his talent). No concept is too ambitious or too challenging for him to execute. He’ll go farther than you want him to and can make magic out of barely formed ideas. But what truly sets Peter apart isn't just his creativity—it's his dedication to the less glamorous side of his craft. He communicates clearly, meets deadlines, and is always accessible, making the entire process seamless. I cannot recommend him highly enough!

    I make Bolu’s life easier.

  • Goodness Urama, Creative Developer, Rvysion

AJ might just be the best designer I’ve ever worked with. His speed, attention to detail and approach to crafting web experiences feel like art.

    Batman + Robin.

  • Adesewa Adebayo, Product Designer

Peter creates the coolest stuff on the web by bringing a level of expertise and passion that's simply unmatched. What really sets him apart is his ability to balance brilliant design instincts with a healthy dose of humor to each project. He is simply the resident creative genius on any team, HIM literally and figuratively.

Sewa looks up to me, literally.

  • Joshua Akachi, CTO, BlocVerse

Working with Peter has been a delight. He consistently pushes the boundaries of visually appealing design, and his ability to move from concept to implementation quickly, without sacrificing quality, is something I truly admire. If you're looking for someone who combines experience with a constant openness to learn, I highly recommend working with Peter.

    Created bangers at Blocverse.

  • Rukayat Yaro, Founder, DesignWithRooks

If there’s someone who knows how to communicate his thoughts using pixels, it’s AJ. AJ is an extraordinary designer who wants to do extraordinary things and I am very confident that he would do those things

    I’m basically DWR’s coolest kid.
