In late 2023, PiggyVest launched its Savings Report, a deep dive into Nigeria's financial habits across key areas such as debt, savings, black tax, expenses, gifts, and income. As the sole designer, I collaborated closely with the Content Team at PiggyVest to bring this project to life. The design challenge was to transform a data-heavy report into a fun and interactive experience that would engage users and spark conversations. To achieve this, I focused on creating an easy-to-read report with standout call-outs and creative data visualizations. Our initiative not only captivated audiences with valuable insights but also earned a spot on the Trend Table on X. Within the first 24 hours, the report attracted over 105K views and led to a remarkable increase of 10K+ new signups to the company’s newsletter.

The Garage NG launched its new website, designed to support its mission of fostering the next generation of remote work talent on university campuses across Nigeria. As the sole designer, I worked closely with developers and the growth team to create a website that not only conveyed essential information—such as stats, features, community highlights, career pages and location details—but also introduced an innovative booking experience. The standout feature was a 3D model of the co-working space, allowing users to visualize availability, take virtual tours, and seamlessly book their spots. Our efforts resulted in a dynamic and user-friendly platform that resonated with the target audience, enhancing engagement and making the booking process both intuitive and interactive. The Garage NG was also featured on Lapa.ninja.

I redesigned a microsite for Payday, Nigeria’s [then] most popular fintech, focusing on revamping their “Cards” page. Despite Payday’s energetic marketing post-raise —through ads, influencer campaigns, and giveaways—the landing page didn’t match the vibrancy. This was my second time experimenting with interactive web design. Collaborating with Goodness Urama, we created an engaging experience for the “Cards” section, incorporating bold visuals, dynamic interactions, and really witty writing that perfectly aligned with Payday’s fun, Gen-Z tone. The result was a viral hit, resonating deeply with the audience and prompting the founders of Payday to reach out for collaboration.

In 2024, the website for WithChude was launched, serving as a unified platform for Chude Jideonwu’s extensive array of content — from interviews and podcasts to films, series, courses, books, and blog posts. Collaborating with Goodness Urama and Bolu Akindele, I tackled the challenge of consolidating Chude’s diverse content, which was previously scattered across platforms like YouTube, Spotify, and Vimeo, into one seamless experience. The key was striking a balance between feature richness and usability, ensuring that Chude and his non-technical team could easily manage the platform and access viewer data. The result was an intuitive, user-friendly site that streamlined content management while delivering a cohesive experience for users across various media formats.

Daniel Orubo’s portfolio site, thecontentnerd.com, was crafted to showcase his decade-long journey across media, tech, and non-profit sectors—all while reflecting his vibrant personality. Collaborating with Goodness Urama, I focused on highlighting Daniel's extensive experience in a way that was both engaging and professional. We incorporated interactive, playful elements that subtly enhanced the user experience, ensuring they added charm without overshadowing the content. The result was a site that not only detailed his impressive career but also brought his unique energy to life on the web.

In late 2023, PiggyVest launched its WAEC '23 report, a unique take on the traditional end-of-year financial summary, transforming users' money movements on the app into graded performance reports. Building on the existing concept, the design team and I pushed the boundaries by leaning into an interactive, story-driven experience rather than a simple single-page scroll. This required the development of a new feature within the app and fresh designs to support the story-style walkthrough. Sharability was a top priority, so we meticulously designed every element—from custom meta images for each user to dynamic landing pages that greeted anyone who clicked a shared link. Given the sensitivity of financial data, we ensured that no actual figures were included in the sharable aspects of the WAEC report, maintaining user privacy while still delivering a fun and engaging experience. The result was our most talked-about WAEC report yet, with users eagerly sharing and flexing their grades on social media. It was a wholesome way to wrap up the year for many, and a motivating kickstart for others heading into the new year.

When the team at DougthePugMeme reached out to create a marketing one-pager for a crypto token project centered around DougthePug, the goal was clear: infuse the site with the same fun, bubbly personality that made Doug a celebrity. Collaborating with Goodness Urama and themoonkami, we embraced a highly illustrated, cartoon-like, hand drawn style, complete with newspaper cutout elements to emphasize Doug's celebrity status. Frontroadgee, the team’s illustrator understood the direction and delivered the assets to tie it all together. The result was a visually playful and engaging site that perfectly balanced delightful design with clear communication of the project's goals.

Nyatwa represents Paychangu’s ambitious entry into the consumer market in Malawi, revolutionizing how money moves with a focus on younger audiences. As Paychangu’s first consumer-facing product, the goal was to create a website that served as a dynamic preview—like a movie trailer—showcasing Nyatwa’s innovative features. Collaborating closely with the Paychangu team, we designed the site to mimic the experience of navigating the app itself, with each section dedicated to a specific feature. To maintain consistency, we adhered to a “one feature to one section” style but made sure to spotlight the virtual cards more prominently. The site’s flow was crafted to guide users through the app's capabilities, culminating in a cohesive showcase of the entire experience. A playful touch was added by making the site loop seamlessly back to the top after reaching the end, a feature that resonated well with both the team and users. The project’s success was further highlighted by multiple features on platforms like lapa.ninja, landing.love and land-book.com.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, the Conservancies in the Maasai Mara, Kenya, faced a crisis. With tourism— their primary income source— at a standstill, locals began turning to farming for survival, putting one of our greatest conservation efforts at risk. In response, Mara, the blockchain company, organized a hackathon to find a solution. As the sole designer with my team at Blocverse, we developed Uwazi—a blockchain-based platform for direct donations to locals, ensuring transparency and traceability. To combat fraud and money laundering, we integrated Metamap for KYC verification. A pivotal moment came during our trip to Kenya, where we engaged directly with potential users. We quickly realized that to truly serve them, Uwazi needed to be accessible on non-smartphone devices and function despite poor internet connectivity. In response, we adapted our withdrawal methods to USSD codes, enabling users to onboard, interact, and withdraw funds from any device. We also established centers for KYC, ensuring the system's integrity. Our solution won $20k in the hackathon, a testament to its potential to protect both the land and the livelihoods of the Maasai people.

The Jesus Project was a fun and really random one where I, alongside Goodness Urama, took a stab at visualizing what a modern-day portfolio for Jesus Christ would look like in 2023. This project, though spontaneous, unexpectedly garnered significant attention and played a pivotal role in shaping my passion for interactive web design. We focused on creating a dynamic and engaging experience, using storytelling to captivate and entertain users while presenting a portfolio that felt both contemporary and reverent. The success of this project highlighted the power of interactive design in keeping audiences engaged and sparked my desire to explore more innovative and storytelling-driven web experiences.
